Kimberlie Rey is a Massachusetts based artist who, at age 3, declared to her parents that she was going to be “a famous artist”.
Drawing and creating from this early age, Kimberlie began her formal art education in high school becoming a member of the National Art Honor Society, creating her own independent studies, and having her first exhibitions as well as professional sales. Kimberlie furthered her studies at Pratt Institute and The New School, where she lived and worked in NYC submersed in the art world of the late 80’s.
Leaving New York to explore the US and beyond, she brings her rich travel and life experience into her art.
Kimberlie Rey works in mixed media including, but not limited to, charcoal, pencil, gouache, acrylic and oil.
