I am a Massachusetts based artist who, at age 3, declared to my parents that I was going to be “a famous artist”.
Drawing and creating from this early age, I began my formal art education in high school becoming a member of the National Art Honor Society, created my own independent studies, and had my first exhibitions as well as professional sales. I went on to further my studies at Pratt Institute and The New School, where I lived and worked in NYC, submersed in the art world of the late 80’s.
Leaving New York to explore the US and beyond, I bring my extensive travel and life experience into my art. Using these experiences helps me share the energy and vibrance of the world around us.

Mission Statement
My work examines the quiet intersections between memory, material, and place. Each piece is built from a careful balance of process and knowing: layered surfaces that record decisions, deliberate omissions that invite the viewer to complete a narrative. I use texture, scale, and color to create a space for contemplation. Sharing life’s energy, brilliance and vibrance.
Collectors should know these works are not decorative afterthoughts; they are material investigations that reward slow looking. The surfaces hold traces of time—scratches, washes, threads of pigment—that function as evidence of making. This visible labor gives the work emotional weight and longevity, fostering repeated encounters that reveal new details over time. Bringing you back to look and look again.
Conceptually, my work explores presence and absence. Forms often suggest structures—frames, thresholds, fragments—without fully resolving into recognizable objects. That ambiguity allows a piece to operate across contexts: domestic, institutional, intimate. Collectors who live with these works will find they shift depending on light, proximity, and the viewer’s mood, creating an active relationship rather than passive display.
Materials are chosen for durability. I use only archival materials so that my work will withstand the test of time, ensuring that my work ages with integrity. Investing in this work is an investment in slow engagement. These pieces are built to last—physically and conceptually—and to become richer with familiarity. They offer collectors a quiet but persistent presence that complements thoughtfully curated spaces and supports a collection grounded in material insight, intellectual rigor, and a commitment to artworks that reveal themselves over time.
I work in mixed media including, but not limited to, charcoal, pencil, gouache, acrylic and oil, mostly on paper, but any work can be mounted on canvas if desired.
